2014, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ENSA was focusing on networking in nursing education which is one of the main goals of ENSA. Therefore we have selected this topic as the main theme of this AGM. In addition, we have been focusing on the importance of men in nursing which is a highlighted and a very important topic recently in nursing education and nursing practice across Europe.

Further, we had the pleasure to inform our AGM that in the beginning of October ENSA has signed the constitution with a Belgium notary and EFN lawyer, and opened a bank account in Brussels. This will make ENSA an official stakeholder on EU-level and now we have the possibility to work with lobbying in the European Parliament, European Commission and Council of Ministers.

Because of this, one of our themes during this AGM was “ENSA-An organization in the making” where the future of ENSA, as a registered organization, was discussed.

In this very important AGM, we are still very happy that 14 countries joined this meeting!
Thank you for this.
